product parts

The technology needed for this product is fairly straight forward, however it took me a while to figure out what was needed just because I don't know much about electronics and trying to find the smallest parts possible, especially in the wristband.

This was the smallest bluetooth that I could find for the product. We will need one in the base and one in the wristband. It will be used to send the wrist movement recorded to the base. From the base, the information will be sent to the computer and uploaded automatically to the website.
The servo motor will be used to rotate the pot according to the movement being received from the painters that the user is following. We chose the motor because it will turn in both directions and and at different speeds.
The lithium battery was chosen for the base because it has the power that we need for the light and motor to operate. Also it will last for long enough that the user can use it cordlessly while painting and then plug it in to recharge when needed. As the pot can be receiving while the user is not using it, it may have to be plugged in whenever it is left for a long period of time. The side of the base has an indication light that changes from green to orange to indicate battery life and give the user a warning to plug in the base.
